Twilight Tour at the Weinrich Farm

  • 6071 Secor Road Traverse City, MI, 49685 United States (map)

Join us for our final Twilight Tour of 2021—a livestock showcase at the Weinrich Farm.

This event is freebut we request your preregistration so that we can track attendance for logistics and safety purposes. Please register here.

The Weinrich Farm is a 78-acre diversified farm that began with a family's audacious idea to leave big city office jobs to relate with the land as first generation farmers. Drawing inspiration from farmers such as Joel Salatin and Gabe Brown, farmers Adam and Dandan are focused on raising multiple livestock species on pasture.

The Weinrichs sell their products under the brand Anavery Fine Foods through a CSA subscription program. Meat Club customers select specific products they would like to receive in a box packaged every two weeks for a four month period.

With warm welcome, Adam, Dandan and Crosshatch invite you to join us for a showcase of the livestock systems—including multi-species rotational grazing, mixed bird housing, and pastured hogs—that the Weinrichs have established since they began farming in 2019 . Despite their very recent beginnings, Adam and Dandan have worked with full passion and commitment for the last few years. They are happy for this opportunity to share their experiences, and invite the questions and advice that you bring from your own livestock interests and practices.

Directions:

Please note that online mapping directions will take you to the neighbor’s driveway, which is 100 yards to the west. Please enter the gravel drive marked by a flag and follow Crosshatch event signage as you approach.
